Theater Wit is committed to providing space to arts and community organizations at low rates; we believe in our building as a hub of the community and welcome interested applicants to find out more. If you are looking to rent space from us, please contact us by email with any questions you may have.

We are currently renting performance space starting May 1st, 2010 and rehearsal space starting March 22nd, 2010.

Primetime Rental Rates

Available for registered 501c3 groups only
  • Includes 4 regular performance weekend
    (Thursday - Sunday)
  • Includes Opening Night performance if on different day
  • In house box office services (on site, phone, web)
  • Building Access 1 1/2 hours before performance until 45 minutes after
  • 8am - midnight access during Tech Week until opening
  • Base Rental: $1590/week

Additional costs
  • Additional performances: $250/show (not including opening night)
  • $450 tech (per calendar week), $150/additional tech day
  • $250 end of run house cleanup fee
  • Dumpster rental for strike
  • 25% discounted pickup Laundry/dry cleaning service available
  • $2.00 service fee per ticket for box office from advertised ticket price

Rehearsal / Meeting / Class Space

Our spaces are perfect for theatrical rehearsals, classes, staff or board meetings, etc. Meeting tables, chairs and work lighting on the stage are provided. Times vary, please check schedule for availability.

Rates
  • Not for profit rates: $25/hour
  • Commercial renters: $35/hour

Corporate Presentations / Press Events

We can accommodate press and large gatherings (up to 99 people in the audience) in any one of our spaces. Host your next company-wide meeting or press event here. Rate includes projector rental, sound system, lectern, microphone, projection screen and stage and house lighting provided by our staff and an in-house technician to run your event smoothly. Catering tables available on request. $125/hour with one hour of planning and consultation complimentary.

Late-night / off-night rentals

Available for registered 501c3 groups only doing off-night (Mon-Wed) or late night (Fri/Sat after 10pm, Sundays varying) or morning performances.
  • Contracted on a per-performance basis, 4 performance minimum
  • In house box office services (on site, phone, web)
  • Building Access 1 hour before performance until 30 minutes after
  • Performances take place on existing set and light plot
  • Base Rental: $250/performance

Additional costs
  • $150 per tech day
  • $75 end of run house cleanup fee
  • 25% discounted pickup Laundry/dry cleaning service available
  • $2.00 service fee per ticket for box office
  • Dumpster rental for strike
