Location and Parking
Driving
Theater Wit is located at 1229 W Belmont between Racine and Southport.
We're on the south side of the street.
Parking
Theater Wit has $10 parking in our lot across the street. To find the lot, drive through the alley directly opposite our front door. There is also limited non-metered street parking available on Belmont and Lakewood. Many of the neighborhood side streets are zoned in the evening starting at 10pm, but are available during matinees.
Public Transportation
Red, Purple or Brown L Stop: Belmont
From the Belmont station, walk west three blocks to the theater. The neighborhood is quite well lit and very populated at all hours.
CTA Belmont Bus #77
The bus stops on belmont 1/2 block from the theater. Bus schedules can be indeterminate, so you can visit the CTA website for schedule details.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available post-show, but our house manager will be happy to call you a taxi for the end of your performance.
Bike
There are two bike racks directly outside the theater. Please do not lock your bike to a street sign, as those signs are easily removable from the ground and can put your beloved cycle at risk. There are also convenient Divvy bike stands at the Racine/ Belmont and Southport/ Belmont intersections.
